The challenge
After a couple of years of heavy use, the PC had started throttling and shutting down under load, with fans constantly at full tilt — classic signs of a cooling system that could no longer keep up.
What we did
We stripped it down for a thorough internal clean, clearing the dust that had choked the fans and heatsinks, and replaced the dried-out thermal paste on the processor and graphics card. Airflow and cable routing were tidied to keep it running cool in future.
The result
Temperatures dropped dramatically, the shutdowns stopped, and the machine ran quietly at full performance again — saving the owner the cost of new hardware.
